Why religion, science, and even Kabbalah are just different brands of narcotics
A person must ask the Creator to show them what needs fixing before it breaks. This is called Direct Contact. Reality is alive. Reality breathes. Reality speaks. When this conversation stops, the person starts to feel the corruption in the body or the psyche. Illness is just a sign that the dialogue has been cut. We want to ask “Why is this happening to me?” But the goal is to never have to ask “Why.” The goal is Preemptive Medicine.
The Darkness
We are living in a time of absolute mixture between Light and Darkness. It is hard to wake up. The intensity of the Light descending into the world is blinding, and the vessel cannot contain it. So people choose the Anesthetic. They choose the drug.
The Great Detox
If we do not enter a Rehab Program, humanity will become a race of junkies. We will be addicted to “Substances” just to cope with the signal. But the definition of “Drugs” is wider than you think. This World is a drug. Everything offered to us as a substitute for direct connection is a narcotic.
The Distribution of Narcotics
My Teacher taught me this regarding the “Spiritual Economy”:
God gave the Religious People Morphine. (To sleep, to numb the pain, to feel safe).
God gave the Scientists Money. (To feel control).
God gave the Kabbalists Cocaine. (Highs, spiritual ego, energy rushes).
When the leaders are stoned on power, status, and religious highs, they do not give the people the “King’s Drug” (The Elixir of Life). So the masses are left to eat the scraps from the field: Psychiatric Pills. We are a world of robots and addicts. We are addicted to our programming.
The Price
Religion—in itself—is a drug just like the secular world. When I say “Detox,” I mean from everything. This is what the Messiah concept actually is: Global Rehab. To stop being a robot. To stop outsourcing your stability. To pay the price to exit the reality of “Junkies” and enter the reality of Eternity.

I grew up in a house that mixed Ultra-Orthodox prayer with opium. I know what it looks like when people use God to get high, and I know what it looks like when they use drugs to find God. I have been an addict to substances, and I have been an addict to validation. So when I read this text, I don’t see a metaphor. I see a diagnosis.
The entire religious establishment are Morphine Addicts. The entire spiritual community are Cocaine Users.
Let’s break down the chemistry:
Morphine (Religion): It numbs you. It tells you everything is fine. Just follow the rules, don’t ask questions, go to sleep. It kills the pain of existence, but it also kills the aliveness.
Cocaine (New Age / Kabbalah): It spikes you. You feel powerful. You feel “Enlightened.” You have manic energy. “I am God! I manifest everything!” It is pure Ego dressed in white linen.
Money (Science/Tech): The illusion of control. If I can measure it and buy it, I am safe.
We are all junkies. We are all outsourcing our stability to something external. If you need the Rabbi to tell you you’re good, you’re an addict. If you need the “Energy Download” to feel special, you’re an addict. If you need the Bank Account to feel safe, you’re an addict.
The only sober state is Direct Contact. No middleman. No dealer. Just you and the Source. The “King’s Drug” isn’t a substance. It is the raw, unfiltered Signal. It burns, but it wakes you up.
